    The Wall Cladding Process

    1. Site Assessment and Scoping

      We visit your site to assess the scope of cladding works required. For replacement projects we inspect the condition of the existing cladding system, the underlying wall structure, and all junctions, penetrations and fixings. For new installations we review the building plans and specifications and liaise with the builder or project manager on programme requirements.

    2. Material Selection and Specification

      We work with you to select the appropriate cladding system for your building and its environment. For most commercial and industrial applications we recommend genuine Colorbond or Zincalume steel products from BlueScope Steel — the most trusted metal cladding products in Australia. We advise on profile selection, fixing systems and colour choice based on the building's location, exposure conditions and aesthetic requirements.

    3. Safety Planning

      Wall cladding installation on commercial and industrial buildings involves working at height, often using scaffolding or EWPs, and in some cases the handling of asbestos materials. A D Roofing prepares a comprehensive safety plan including SWMS, risk assessments and any required regulatory notifications before any work commences.

    4. Site Establishment and Installation

      Our licensed team installs the cladding system in strict accordance with the manufacturer's installation specifications and Australian Standards. All fixings are installed at the correct centres. All junctions, flashings, penetrations and corners are carefully detailed to ensure a fully weathertight result.
